Irish half crowns make beautiful statement jewelry. The Irish Half a Crown is also know as "two and six" (two shillings and a six pence) and was minted from 1928 to 1967. Until 1943 the coins were 75% silver. The coin features an Irish Hunter on one side and an Irish Harp on the reverse. Handset in a sterling bezel.
